- Estimates
-
A written estimate will be given at the time of delivery to my shop.
All estimates are honored as closely as possible, however, there may be
items that have hidden defects that require more work than originally
thought. In those cases, the final price is guaranteed within 20% of
the written estimate.
For example, if I’ve given you a written estimate
of $200 on an item, your final price will be no more than $240 regardless
of how much extra work the item entails.
The same policy is true of items picked up and delivered. At the time of
pick-up, a written estimate will be given and your final price will be no
more than 20% above the price quoted.
If an item requires less work than originally estimated, the price will be
adjusted to reflect a labor discount of up to 20%.
For example, if I’ve given
you a written estimate of $200 and your item ends up taking less time than calculated,
the price will be adjusted with up to a 20% discount ($160 on that $200 item).
- Refusals/Rejections
-
Occasionally, items are presented, estimates given, then it is later discovered
that they are not appropriate for either resurfacing or coating. In the event
your part is in this category, I will contact you within 7 business days of delivery
to inform you of the situation. Your part will be returned to you upon payment of
any charges for work done (for example: sandblasting) and no further charges will be
incurred.
- Payment
-
Payment is due at the time of pick up or delivery of item in cash, check or money order.
No items will be released until paid in full. In the event an item goes 90 days beyond
its pick up or delivery date, it will be liquidated and the service total due Cayuga Powder
Coating will be paid from the proceeds. Any remaining amount will be returned to the
customer.
